Fix-It-Friday

I love Fix-It-Fridays over at

I love that I get to show you all what post production looks like. Seems clients are not too fond of showing the "before" version of their pictures.

It's also fun to work on photos that are not taken by me and then see how everyone else would change them in post.

A couple of weeks I ago, I did a newborn session with Teagan. Her mommy had the CUTEST little hair bands, hats and flowers, I knew right then and there that I needed those. I got in contact with the creator of these lovelies, Shelby from Rylan's Riches Baby Boutique and promptly cleaned out her inventory. Not only did I get the cutest little hair accessories, she also makes tutus and wings. I am now the proud owner of a set of angel wings, probably the only ones I'll ever get! LOL I can't wait to use all my new stuff in a 6 month old baby session with my friend's granddaughter on Sunday!

Fix-It-Friday

It's Friday so the gals over at I {Heart} Faces are hosting Fix-It-Friday. They provide an original picture and then we get to gussy it up. Here is the original. What a cutie...

Here is my "fixed" version. I ran several actions in 2 different programs. Removed all the auntie treats off his face, tilted it, enhanced the color balance, cropped, contoured the face, brightened eyes, evened the skin tones, patched skin imperfection, widened his eyes a bit and viola! My take on an already great pic! Thanks and that was fun!
